A new action RPG from the top down, isometric perspective has just been announced, set in the western regions of China of ancient times, along the Silk Road, and will let us play as a cursed warrior who is on a quest to find his lost love/princess. The whole thing looks like isometric Prince of Persia on steroids, and that is a good thing.
Loulan: The Cursed Sand, developed by ChillyRoom, will offer two modes of play, that you can switch around on the fly. Skeleton form and Sand form will offer different abilities to use in combat. Many abilities will also be required to solve puzzles in the game world. The game will have it’s share of gigantic bosses, waiting to grind you into dust or sand, if you will. And the whole package is rounded out by a backdrop of cool Chinese mythology and music.
