Shadow of the Road got a new trailer at Galaxies Showcase 2025, after the official reveal trailer from last year. The game is a classic, isometric, party based RPG set in feudal Japan, but with a twist. Magic and Technology co-exist with said Feudalism, which creates a pretty interesting setting, as Samurai and other martial arts masters duke it out with both monsters and mechs (well, machines) in full turn-based, tactical mode from a top down perspective.
The game is developed by Another Angle Games, but published by Owlcat Games, who brought us instant RPG classics like Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous or Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader.
