Solasta 2 seems to be well underway in it’s development, as Tactical Adventures just posted a new gameplay trailer. Solasta: Crown of the Magister, released back in 2020, was a fresh new addition to tactical, isometric role-playing games, featuring one of the best DnD 5th Edition rule implementations in a video game, yet. While the game was a bit janky, it was nevertheless a lot of fun to play.
Now, Solasta 2 promises to be more polished and refined, what with the devs having more experience under their belt from the development of the previous game. The lands of Neokos are under threat by a mysterious baddie and it’s once again up to us and our party of meticulously min-maxed characters to go out there and stop him. Solasta will drop into Early Access sometime early 2026. Until then, you can wishlist the thing on Steam. And also, check out the new gameplay trailer below.
