If you have ever asked yourself what would happen if the original creators of Diablo, Diablo II, Diablo III, Hellgate: London and Torchlight got back together and decided to make a new game, then Moon Beast (which is only the name of the project and the development studio) is the answer.
These legendary former Blizzard North developers, did indeed form a new studio and are going to bring us a new ARPG, which promises to be something really awesome. We will get fully destructible environments, fast and mobile combat, persistent world changes as well as full modding support with a map editor. But also more traditional ARPG features like items with suffixes and affixes, a crafting cube like the Horadric Cube from Diablo II, as well as different skill trees for each character.
The game is not even named yet, and only in pre-alpha, but the devs have recently posted a Developer’s Livestream with a bunch of gameplay. The whole watch is around an hour long and you can check it out below, also follow Moon Beast on Discord here.
